Processing accuracy
· Dimensional accuracy: The machining dimensional accuracy of mold parts should be controlled within the specified range. The dimensional tolerance of the general cavity and core is within ± 0.05mm, and the tolerance of critical dimensions can be controlled within ± 0.01mm.
·Shape accuracy: Shape errors such as flatness, straightness, roundness, etc. should comply with corresponding standards, and flatness is generally controlled within the range of 0.01-0.05mm/m.
·Position accuracy: The position accuracy between each component is required to be high, such as controlling the uniformity of the fit gap between the core and the cavity within ± 0.02mm.
·Processing technology
·Cutting processing: Advanced cutting processing techniques such as high-speed milling, precision grinding, etc. are used to improve processing efficiency and surface quality. The selection of cutting parameters should be optimized based on material characteristics and machining requirements.
·Electric discharge machining: For some complex shaped mold parts, electric discharge machining is required to ensure machining accuracy and surface quality. The discharge parameters of electric discharge machining should be adjusted reasonably to control the machining speed and surface roughness.
·Heat treatment: Appropriate heat treatment is applied to mold parts, such as quenching, tempering, etc., to improve the hardness and strength of the material, and enhance the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the mold.
